MISSION & VISION
Lakeshore Pregnancy Center is a Christ-centered ministry that responds to unplanned pregnancy and believes that every life matters, healthy relationships are vital, Biblical sexuality is possible and Hope is eternal.
Lakeshore Pregnancy Center has been offering quality pregnancy and support services since 1991. We are committed to providing clients with accurate and complete information about all of their pregnancy options: carrying the child and parenting, carrying the child and adoption, as well as abortion (the procedures and risks).
LPC does not recommend, provide, or refer for abortion.
LPC is committed to integrity when serving clients, earning their trust, and providing promised information and services. LPC denounces any form of deception in its corporate advertising or individual conversations with clients.
LPC is committed to assisting women and their partners to carry to term by providing emotional support and practical assistance. Through the provision of God's people and the community at large, women and men may face the future with hope, and plan constructively for themselves and their children.
LPC supports men both during pregnancy and parenting. Men are encouraged, educated, and inspired to take
their God-designed role. They are supported through their concerns and challenged to be a godly example for their child and protector of the woman in their lives.
LPC is committed to reach into area schools and churches with the goal of helping students (young people) make healthy and godly relationship choices early, heal from poor choices of the past, and make plans for the future.
We also provide education and support for parents raising children in a very sexual world, youth leaders,
and other youth organizations with training and resources.
LPC does not discriminate in providing services because of race, creed, color, national origin,
age or marital status of its clients.
LPC offers free and confidential assistance at all times.
LPC is committed to be loving representatives of Christ to women and men in unplanned pregnancies in both word
and deed. Commensurate with this purpose, those who labor as pregnancy center board members,
directors and volunteers have committed to know Christ as their Savior and Lord.
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Exodus 20:2,3; I Corinthians 8:6; Titus 2:13)
We believe in the divine creation and sustaining of the universe and the unique creation of man in the image of God. (Genesis 1-2; Colossians 1:16,17; John 1:3)
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God. (II Timothy 3:16, 17; II Peter 1:19-21)
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, and in His miracles (Genesis 3:15; Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:18-25).
We believe in His substitutionary and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory. (Romans 5:19; 5:21; I Corinthians 15:3-5)
We believe that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, in need of salvation which is received through faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and not as a result of good works. (Romans 3:23; Ephesians 2:8-9)
We believe in the existence of a literal Hell and the bodily return of Christ to earth. (Luke 16:25; Revelations 20:14,15; Acts 2:11, 29-35; Matthew 24: 29-31)
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling, the Christian is enabled to live a godly life and to perform good works. (Romans 8: 9-11; I Corinthians 3:16, 6:19; II Corinthians 6:16; II Timothy 1:14)
We believe in the Biblical model for marriage and family. (Genesis 2:24; Ephesians 5:21, 6:4; Colossians 3:18, 21; 1 Peter 3:17)
We believe children are a blessing of the Lord and should be welcomed. (Psalm 127:3; Mark 10:13)
The Body of Christ
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 3:23-24)
