The Giving Shoe
A man dropped a shoe as he was boarding a train. As the train was already
in motion, the man was unable to retrieve it. He calmly reached down, took off his other shoe, and threw it off the train as well.
When a fellow passenger asked why he would do such a thing, he smiled and said, “The poor man who finds the shoe on the track will now have a pair he can use.”
We want to invite you to "take off your shoes" along with us! Together, what we share with others could be exactly what they need to take that first small step; but the biggest step in their life.
“Christmas is not as much about
opening our presents
as opening our hearts.”
I want to invite you to help us finish the year strong and prepare ourselves for an exciting 2018 by prayerfully considering an end-of-year financial gift to Lakeshore Pregnancy Center.
*** Any giving to us must be post-marked by Saturday December 30, as the post office is closed Sunday December 31. Any gifts received post-marked January 1 or later will be designated as 2018 giving.
