Above the Clouds

Will you be a Gabriel who proclaims,

"Do not be afraid.

The Lord is with you and so are we".

Your gift today will save more lives and

help more families celebrate the birth

of their child.

As we come to the end of an interesting year, an old 70’s song comes to mind.

“I can see clearly now the rain is gone.
I can see all obstacles in my way.
Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind.
It’s gonna be a bright, bright sunshiny day.”

2020 has brought about an interesting irony that we dare not miss! Seeing clearly is described as 20/20 vision -  yet this year has been filled with obstacles we could not see coming.

Truthfully, we may never be able to see all the obstacles in our way. In fact, many times we are totally blindsided. That’s what  Pamela said while telling us her story,

her pregnancy suddenly became an obstacle in her way.

“I didn’t expect this pregnancy. I just didn’t see this coming. I feel pretty blindsided right now. I can’t see my way out of this.”

Not long ago, we met Pamela and her boyfriend Nathan, in the parking lot as she came to pick up her prenatal vitamins. Everyone had already left for the day so I went back inside, hoping to retrieve them for her. Success!

Her response still brings a  smile to my face. She wrapped me in a big hug (social distancing lost in the moment). With her hand on her beautiful “baby bump,” she gushed,

“We’re getting there, thanks to you guys!”

Gone are the dark clouds that had her blind. It is now a bright, bright sunshiny day. This

is only possible because you allowed us to encourage Pamela with the resources you placed in our hands.

We can see clearly that as a nation, we continue to grapple with an ongoing pandemic, racial reconciliation, and a critical election. It all centers around the value of life.

Through your prayers and financial partnership, you are making it clear that you believe life is valuable and worth protecting and supporting.

“They are getting there, thanks to you guys!”

Pamela and Nathan’s baby will celebrate his first Christmas in the arms of his parents.

Christmas celebrates the birth of Jesus, the most famous “unplanned” pregnancy in history. Thanks to Gabriel’s timely arrival, Mary and Joseph’s “unplanned” pregnancy was not a crisis but a child with a divine purpose.

Imagine this pregnancy story without Gabriel?

His presence helped remove all the obstacles.

As a modern-day Gabriel, you can change a crisis pregnancy

into a life with purpose.
